Oversees the operation of the County Party, including filling leadership posts, running party meetings, raising funds, creating a budget, and signing contracts. Sets the overall policy direction and strategic goals of the Party.

Acts in the absence of the Chair. Undertakes administrative tasks as assigned by the Chair.

Represent the County Party to the South Carolina Democratic Party State Executive Committee. The State Committee is charged with the execution and direction of the policy of the Party of this State, subject to these rules, the principles declared in the platform, and such instruction, by resolution or otherwise, as a State Convention may from time to time adopt, not inconsistent with these rules. The State Committee may make any rules or regulations for the purpose of enforcing these rules not inconsistent herewith.

Represent the County Party to the South Carolina Democratic Party State Executive Committee when the State Executive Committeewoman cannot attend. The State Committee is charged with the execution and direction of the policy of the Party of this State, subject to these rules, the principles declared in the platform, and such instruction, by resolution or otherwise, as a State Convention may from time to time adopt, not inconsistent with these rules. The State Committee may make any rules or regulations for the purpose of enforcing these rules not inconsistent herewith.

Acts as the special liaison to younger party members and works to bring more voters under the age of 35 into the Party. Plans outreach events for young voters, creates special programs for young voters, and works with local universities to identify potential Party members. During election periods, works to get out the youth vote.

Manages the Party's budget, prepares regular financial reports, monitors expenses and cash flow, files required quarterly Ethics Reports, and maintains the Party's relationship with its bank and credit providers.

Records the minutes of meetings, takes attendance at meetings, distributes meeting notices, and maintains a roster of Party members and executives.
