Alexia Niketas

Alexia Niketas serves as First Vice Chair of the Dorchester County Democratic Party. A practicing attorney since 2003, Alexia is licensed in both South Carolina and Georgia and admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the District of South Carolina and the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia. She focuses her practice on property law, real estate, and consumer bankruptcy, and currently serves as Managing Attorney with Dial Grimm & Rupert LLC.

Alexia earned her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy and Piano from the University of Georgia. Alongside her legal career, she has been an active advocate and community leader. She serves on the board of South Porch Artists Residency in Summerville, where she connects with visiting artists and occasionally performs, and on the board of Wholespire, a statewide nonprofit promoting equitable access to nutrition and physical activity. Her past service includes roles with Georgia Lawyers for the Arts and Georgia Homeless Pets, and she continues to foster animals from local shelters.

In addition to her professional and community work, Alexia is deeply engaged in civic life—volunteering in voter protection efforts nationwide and serving as an Election Protection attorney in local elections. The daughter of Greek immigrants, she carries forward her family’s legacy of resilience, gratitude, and belief in the transformative power of education and civic participation.
